19th century Italian Renaissance style octagonal box with burl wood and veneer fruit wood and dyed wood inlay. Florence, Italy circa 1890's. This lovely small box is decorated with whimsical inlaid design showing two winged angels growing out of intertwining bell flowers. A sweet desk top or table top item that will bring a smile to your face every time you look at it.  Circa 1890.
