A Swedish Ormolu and Patinated Bronze Chandelier

Circa: 1820

Swedish Empire chandelier, circa 1810–1830. Patinated metal dish-form body with gilt bronze mounts. Four gilt cornucopia arms terminating in flame-cast candle nozzles. Body applied with gilt laurel wreath and foliate ornament, dome center with anthemion mount, turned finials above and below. Suspended by three oval-link chains from a star-form canopy. Currently unwired.
