Late 18th Century French Faience Brasier
A faience brasier, France circa 1780.
Of square section and bombé baluster form, canted shoulder corners and lower portion pierced, the terracotta body covered in a cream-colored slip and splashed in blue, the conforming cover with integral handles, the body with iron and wood bracket handles, the interior fitted with a lead bucket for coal, raised on a dolly supported on four wooden wheels, height overall 18" inches. 16" wide X 12" Deep
