Henry Birks & Sons Crescent Moon Dresser Clock
French, late 19th/early 20th Century. Bronze encased crystal ball form clock suspended from a gilt bronze crescent moon form base. White face is decorated with purple and gold guilloche enamel or metal circular cartouches containing Arabic numerals, with a 60 second clock being at the 6 o'clock place. Alternating purple and white glass rhiinestones decorate the bronze case on tondo. Movement marked on back "France." face with retailer's mark "Hentry Birks & Sons, Montreal" and "France." Overall 7.75" tall, crystal ball face 3" diameter.
