Modern Cerused Oak French Console in the manner of Jean-Michel Frank (1895-1941).  Circa 1960's.

Note : In “L’étrange luxe du rien” book by Martin-Vivier,  J-M Frank is referenced as having designed perfectly  proportioned furniture and lighting - free from superfluous ornamentation and decoration – for the most eclectic clients of his time.

His oeuvre and style are perfectly defined as “grand luxe modernism”  and the “absolute silence of luxury”.
