Syrian octagonal side with inlay of mother-of-pearl ebony, rosewood, and various fruit woods. Best quality, with intricate geometric inlay over the surface and sides. With a beautiful silhouette, this will make a singular drinks table. Stamped "Damas, Syrie" under the top, showing it was made in the once cosmopolitan capital of Syria, Damascus. Circa 1900.
