Reverse glass painting of Saint Florian, patron saint of firefighters.  "Verre églomisé", or reverse glass painting with gilding of Saint Florian. The Saint dressed in red with gilt helmet and armor shown dousing a house on fire with water. Saint Florian (died circa 304 AD) the patron saint of Linz, Austria; chimney sweeps and firefighters. His feast day is May 4. St. Florian is also the patron of Upper Austria.
