Pair Italian Baroque Style Wrought Iron and Bronze Torchere Floor Lamps

Pair of Italian Baroque style wrought iron torchere floor lamps with bronze turnings. With attractive S and ogee curved bases that make a nice profile. This 17th century Italian style was very much in vogue late 19th early 20th century, "Robber Baron Chic", as the newly rich emulated and copied the decor of the immensely wealthy Henry J Frick, Andrew Carnegie and J P Morgan, who's homes, now museums, show their predilection for early Italian antiques, lighting and works of art.  Circa 1890.
