18th Century Italian Rococo Gilt Wood Oval Mirror

An 18th century Italian Rococo gilt wood oval mirror with ribbon crest and floral decoration. The oval framed by a lovely rope twist border, the mirror inside a beaded border. The gilt wood frame with four lozenges showing the red bole underneath, to excellent effect. This is a charming and elegant small scale oval mirror with a lot of presence. Circa 1750.
