A English Porcelain Twisted Hexagonal Lidded Vase

A 19th century twisted hexagonal jar, the conforming domed lid with bulbous knop. Colorful Imari-style floral decoration painted in alternating panels of chrysanthemums on a white ground and ochre flowers and foliage on a green ground, with gilt line decoration throughout, the domed covers of similar form. Unmarked, possibly Spode but other examples have been seen with pseudo Bristol marks.
