Apprentice's Table, Drop Leaf Round Vintage round fruitwood Apprentice's Table. Twelve inch drop leaves are on either side. Historically, this table has been made at the end of a woodworking apprentice's apprenticeship to display the extensive knowledge and intricate handicraft he has learned. The curvature of the spiraling table legs are very difficult and require a great mount of skill and attention to detail. This table would work perfectly as both a dinner table in a small New York apartment or a family table in a warm sunroom.
