Diego Giacometti style patinated iron with rough cut stone shelves. With whimsical owl finials typical of the artists love for birds and animals, this is a work of art with a very practical use. Whether used for books or display it is makes a singular addition to any interior. The wrought iron has a wonderful chocolate patina, the owl finials each with their own personality. The rough cut stone shelves are a stunning limestone conglomerate that compliment the iron. Of course they could be replaced by glass or another material if preferred.

The original of this shelf were made in bronze by Diego Giacometti in 1966 - 1967, known as Bibliotheque au Mexique or Bibliotheque aux Hibous.
