Exceptional late 19th century diorama of steam/sailing vessel of Sandy Hook Lightship.  Done by the same hand as the tug diorama judging from the construction, date of lightship is circa 1880's - 1890's.  From a lifelong collection of folk marine art in eastern CT.  Purchased from Nina Hellman ( Nantucket ), one of the greatest early folk dealers.
