Frits Henningsen Danish Tufted Upholstery and Mahogany Sofa

A Frits Henningsen (1889–1965) sofa features a gently curved, asymmetric barrel back with button tufting on the back panel and scrolled mahogany arm terminals. Six tapered, reeded mahogany legs. Upholstered in a Holland and Sherry wool flannel with Loro Piana buttons and welting. Excellent example of Danish mid-century craftsmanship.
