Italian hand carved wood starburst mirror in red bol. Originally gilded, now worn down to the red base, 'bol', that the gilding is set on, it makes for a unique color and surface. The multilayered hand carving gives this piece a lot of depth and presence. Great look. Made by Palladio, Florence, Italy. Circa 1960's. Paper label attached on reverse.
