Lacquered wood & aluminium triangular 3 tier side table by Warren McArthur ( American. 1885 - 1961 ). Label on underside. Circa 1930's - 1940's.
An ebonized and polished aluminum triangular 3 tier side table by Warren McArthur ( American. 1885 - 1961 ). This side table is almost certainly from 1929, showing the prevalence of the triangle in McArthurs work around the time that he did the interior furniture for the Arizona Biltmore. Further, it shows the development, but not fully realized hardware, that would become his signature finishing element. Retaining paper label on bottom of lowest shelf. Art Deco.
