Rectangular campaign chest in figured mahogany with ebonized moldings, lock plate stamped "JINWIN FINE STEEL" beneath a crowned VR cypher (for Queen Victoria), along with central drawer bearing a stationalized nameplate, fitted with brass recessed campaign pulls and brass side carry handles, upper central drawer opens to reveal a fall-front writing surface lined in green baize, with interior compartments behind, additional small drawers flank the writing drawer, over two long drawers and a full-width lower drawer, raised on turned feet.
