19th Century English Regency Turned Elmwood Book Stand with Bone Decoration

19th century English Regency turned elm wood book stand with bone decoration. This is one of my favorite recent acquisitions, beautifully crafted and wonderful patina. The turned supports have very effective yet minimal decoration, small circles of inlaid bone on the ends where they join. It's almost a shame to put a book on it !  Circa 1820 - 1829
