18th Century French Crayon Drawing in Period Ebonized and Gilt Wood Frame

18th century French charcoal and crayon of a peasant carrying baskets from harvest, style of Jean-Antoine Watteau. Mounted in a hand painted recessed mat. The ebonized and gilt wood frame is also 18th century, possibly made for the drawing. A charming and beautifully realized work of art. Early 18th century, circa 1800.

A figure with sheep looks on from behind, a pair of figures, partially rubbed out, sits on the ground to the right of the main figure.
